Apex Mining Co., Inc. (AMCI) continues the distribution of one (1) gallon of hand sanitizers, one (1) gallon of disinfectants to 24 barangays received by the Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction Management Councils. APEX has also released third tranche of financial assistance amounting to Five Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP 500,000.00) to the local Inter-Agency Task Force of the Municipality of Maco, Davao de Oro.
APEX Mining Co., Inc. (AMCI) also in close collaboration with the Province of Davao de Oro and the Municipal Government of Maco, transported thirty-nine (39) Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs).
The LSIs were coming from Cebu City and were fetched by the company-hired shuttle buses at Nasipit Port, Agusan del Norte. Out of 39 LSIs, 35 are AMCI CITE Scholars who are now undergoing a mandatory 14-day quarantine at the isolation facility set-up by the LGU-Maco at Brgy. Elizalde, Maco, Davao de Oro. Aside from the transport, AMCI also provided meals for the 35 quarantined LSIs, including the personnel who are manning the quarantine/isolation facilities.
