Apex Mining Co., Inc., is currently sorting and re-packing grocery/food packs to be distributed and delivered  to sixteen (16) hosts and neighboring barangays. So far APEX has already started distributing hand sanitizers and disinfectants to twenty one (21) barangays.

It has also provided second tranche amounting to one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) financial assistance to the municipality of Mabini, Davao de Oro;  three hundred eighty thousand pesos (P380,000,00) financial assistance for meals and other incidental  expenditures to barangay quarantine checkpoints in the Municipality of Maco, Nabunturan and Mawab, Province of Davao de Oro and one hundred thousand pesos (P100,000.00) as support to the activities of the Philippine Red Cross (PRC) in the fight to contain COVID-19 pandemic.

          Kingking Mining Corporation (KMC), in coordination with the local government of Pantukan, Davao de Oro,  and the Office of the Indigenous Peoples Mandatory Representative (IPMR), the Kingking Mining Corporation sought to provide assistance to households severely affected by the COVID-19 crisis, through the LGU’s ‘Adopt A Family Program’.

The company conducted a house to house turnover of rice packs and face masks to recipient households who have been identified by the Indigenous People’s Municipal Representative (IPMR) as among the poorest IP’s in Barangay Kingking, Pantukan, Davao de Oro. The total number of households assisted is fifty eight (58), with each household receiving three (3) kilos of rice and two (2) to three (3) pieces face mask per household, which they can use when they go out.

Apex Mining Company, Inc. : April 15-20, 2020 Accomplishment

The grocery/food packs intended for the 16 host and neighboring barangays of AMCI arrived on April 17, 2020. The company is currently sorting these food packs which is set to be distributed to 16 barangays beginning April 20, 2020. The total grocery/food packs for distribution is more than Php 1.04 Million Pesos.
Nabunturan, Davao de Oro – Mr. Leo Hanife Ko (red shirt), Head of the Philippine Red Cross – Davao de Oro Chapter, received the fiancial assistance worth One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00) from Apex Mining Company’s Vice-President for Corporate Administration, Emelita C. Fabro, on April 17, 2020. The Financial Assistance is intended to support the activities of the Philippine Red Cross in the fight to contain the spread of Covid-19.
Mabini, Davao de Oro – The Municipal Mayor of Mabini, Mayor Renaydo Dayanghirang, posed with AMCI representatives, during the turn-over of One Hundred Thousand Pesos (Php 100,000.00) financial assistance for Covid-19 containment on April 17, 2020. The assistance is the second (2nd) tranche of assistance given by AMCI to the municipal government of Mabini.
April 16, 2020 – The Barangay Treasurer of Saosao, Mawab, Davao de Oro received the financial assistance handed-over by Engr. Ferdinand Dobli, ComRel Manager of Apex Mining Company, Inc. Barangay Saosao is 1 of the 26 barangays assisted by AMCI who has a Community Quarantine Checkpoints along the main thoroughfare of Maco, Mawab and Nabunturan, all in the Province of Davao de Oro.
