MGB XI reactivated its Operation Center on May 13, 2021 composed of the Regional Director Jasper Alberto H. Lascano and our technical personnel from Geosciences Division, Mine Safety and Health Section and PENR/CENR embedded personnel to monitor the landfall of TD Crising.
Geohazard Advisories were issued to mining companies and Local Government Units. List of geohazard prone areas were disseminated to the stakeholders upon receipt from the Geohazard and Engineering Geology (GhEGS) Section of MGB Central Office. Coordination was also conducted with the OCD and LDRRMOs regarding the negative impacts of the said hydrometeorological hazard.
Initial situational report was made and our technical and embedded personnel is still coordinating with the Office of the Civil Defense (OCD) and Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Offices (LDRRMOs).
